Cushing Residence

We were thrilled with our experience with Harbor Builders—who built a 2,700 sq ft house for us on the mid-coast. The project came in on time, within budget and was done with high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail on finishes. We had done a number of construction projects at our primary residence in MA previously, but we’ve never seen a project so well organized and managed. The project manager ensured that the design decisions were made on schedule so that work (that often wasn’t going to occur until months later) could proceed on time. The subcontractors were in and out when they were supposed to be and all the interface with local authorities was handled seamlessly.

Since we were building from a distance, we had some apprehensions about not being present during construction, but Harbor Builders’ excellent communication quickly allayed our fears. We had weekly calls with the project manager, with pictures sent beforehand, to discuss progress and make any decisions that needed to be made—supplemented by physical visits to the site monthly or as needed. Can’t say enough about Harbor Builders—the entire construction process was effortless and stress-free for us!
